No Next button on Batch Upload Step 2
« on: April 27, 2012, 11:28:29 AM »
Joomla Version 1.5.20
RSGallery Version 2 2.2.1

When I use the batch upload option, the images are uploaded fine and I reach step 2 where I can enter titles and descriptions if I wish.

However, there is no NEXT button in the Joomla toolbar and I can't proceed past Step 2.

The GD library is installed.
I've turned on RSGallery debug and Joomla debug and nothing outstanding is displayed.

Please update to the latest Joomla version (mainly for security reasons, but I've seen it happen in the past that updating Joomla worked for different problems (RSG2 related and not RSG2 related).

And what are your System Details?
Backend > Help > System Info > System Info
- Database Version: e.g. 5.1.33
- PHP Version: e.g 5.2.9
- Web Server an version: e.g Apache/2.2.11 or ISS
- Web Server Operating System: Windows (e.g. the  (Win32) in the web server info
- Web Server to PHP interface:    apache2handler
- Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.26 --> make sure this is the latest version: http://www.joomla.org/download.html
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows) - the browser and the operating system of the user
Suddenly on maternity leave: our baby boy was born a few weeks early, he's doing well now.
For the next couple of weeks I won't available, for true emergences pm locutusweb please.

I hope that RSGallery2 users will help each other out in the mean time.

On http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/rsgallery2/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=6273 you find RSGallery2 documentation. Although that's written with RSGallery2 v3.x for Joomla 2.5 in mind, the Batch upload steps/screens are the same. Paragraph 3.2.1.2 Batch Upload on page 21-23 shows the screens for the first and the second upload step. In the second upload step on the top right of the screen there should be two buttons: "Upload" and "Help".

If those buttons are not there, would you PM me login details for you website?
Would you also give me permission to re-install RSGallery2 and install and uninstall a component called JDump (http://www.joomfish.net/forum/mcp.php) that I often use to track down problems? Please also have a full backup of your site and database ready.

You've solved my problem mirjam.

I was expecting a Next button when instead it was an Upload button I needed to use.  I thought the Upload button would commence a new process, not continue with the current process.
