Possible DB problem
« on: June 02, 2012, 06:11:20 AM »
When using Akeeba Backup to backup the Joomla site it stops and gives the following error.

The last error message was:

AEAbstractDump :: Database Error: Table 'hunterclan.g2_accessmap' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW CREATE TABLE `g2_accessmap`

I am not able to continue with the backup. I recently had to restore the site which may have caused the problem as I was able to backup sucessfully until them. If there is a problem with the DB how can I fix it?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The databasetables that RSGallery2 uses in version 2.x and 3.x (with jos_ as database prefix) are:
jos_rsgallery2_acl
jos_rsgallery2_comments
jos_rsgallery2_config
jos_rsgallery2_files
jos_rsgallery2_galleries

A websearch on "g2_accessmap" gives references to "Gallery" and/or "Gallery2", see http://gallery.menalto.com/, which is an entirely different gallery than RSGallery2 and, as far as I understand, not a Joomla extension (?).

A websearch on 'AEAbstractDump akeeba "Database Error" "doesn't exist"' revealed this link
https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/support-for-akeeba-backup-core/6565-error-preventing-backup.html where a user with a similar error messages was asked to upgrade from a version "b2" to "3.0.rc1" in May 2010.

I have no experience with the Menalto Gallery in combination with Akeeba Backup. The only suggestion I have is to ask in one of their forums, since I don't think this has anything to do with RSGallery2.
Suddenly on maternity leave: our baby boy was born a few weeks early, he's doing well now.
For the next couple of weeks I won't available, for true emergences pm locutusweb please.

I hope that RSGallery2 users will help each other out in the mean time.

I am sorry about this. I used Gallery 2 before moving to RSGallery2 and apparently had not deleted Gallery2 (which I have now done). I assumed incorrectly that the problem was RSGallery2.
