As far as I can tell
- Dave Ludwigsen wrote a RSGallery2 plugin for Community Builder in November 2006 (version 1.0 RC2). It adds a "My Galleries" tab to the CB user profile showing the galleries from RSGallery2 for which the logged in user is the owner, with a link to the gallery.
- These files went into the RSGallery2 repository on JoomlaCode in November 2007 and have never been changed since then. See attachment.
- Since Joomla 1.5.0 was released in January 2008 these files are meant to be used on Joomla 1.0.x, or in Joomla 1.5.x with legacy mode on.
- Attached is also a file with some quick edits to be able to use it on Joomla 1.5.x natively.

Edit: removed attachements, see next post for downloadlink.

Suddenly on maternity leave: our baby boy was born a few weeks early, he's doing well now.
For the next couple of weeks I won't available, for true emergences pm locutusweb please.

I hope that RSGallery2 users will help each other out in the mean time.

Check out http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/rsgallery2/frs/!

It now shows three packages for the Community Builder plugin to show RSGallery2 galleries owned by the user (and published) on the Community Builder User profile with an extra tab.

The release addition _J10, _J15 and _J17 show that the package is for Joomla 1.0.x, 1.5.x (native) and Joomla 1.7.x respectively.

When you click on the Latest Release for a Package you'll see the Release Notes.

I hope you'll find this an afternoon well spent  :)

Hi Mirjam,

Thanks for your reply.  I have tried the plugin attached (J1.5) but it failed to install and showed the following error message:
"Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."
(I know that there is xml file already inside the package.)

Is there anything I did wrongly? Thanks.

I just assumed that since you were asking for a Community Builder plugin you'd know how to install one. My mistake. You need to install the Community Builder plugin in Community Builder, not in Joomla. See instructions on:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/rsgallery2/frs/?action=FrsReleaseView&release_id=16334

Let me know if you need more help, or if it works.

Hi Mirjam,

Thanks, Mirjam. I have installed it. The gallery appear in CB tabs.

I have another problem after installing this plugin. After installing it, the layout of the page has been changed. Because the "(CB) User Profile content' occupy the main area of the page and other menus (not related to CB) was squeezed below the "User Profile content". Is there any solution to it?  Thanks.

Three days ago I installed CB for the first time... please help me a bit with what you mean. I attached a screenshot of how I see the tab (Joomla 1.5.25 with the default rhuk_milkyway template and Community Builder 1.7.1):
- created a menulink of the type Community Builder - User Profile (mandatory), which I called "CB User profile"
- logged in in the front end
- clicked the menulink and then the My Galleries tab
- screenshot shows the result, nothing strange, but it's a site with only the sample date and the default template, nothing special here.

Hi Mirjam,

Thanks for your fast reply!

I used JA Puity II as my template. I attached 2 files to show what happened to me before and after enabling the plugin. The menu was squeezed below the main content area after enbling the plugin. I am not sure whether it is caused by the template or something else. But the layout of the whole page was changed.

These screenshots and the template name were very helpfull. Downloaded JA Purity II and your problem could be reproduced and fixed (as far as I can tell).

Find the file /JOOMLAROOT/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_rsgallery2/rsgallery2.plugin.php. Near the bottom you will find this code (lines 72-80)
Code: [Select]
$htmlText.=$gallery->name;
$htmlText.="</a></div>";
}
$htmlText.="</div></div></div>";
return $htmlText;
}

}
?>
Now change line 75 from
Code: [Select]
$htmlText.="</div></div></div>"; to
Code: [Select]
$htmlText.="</div>";
This also works on Joomla 1.5's default template rhuk_milkyway.

Can you confirm this works for you? Then I'll change the files in the download section on JoomlaCode.
